A 4.8 mile summer trail race through the Moss Valley Derbyshire, starting and finishing from the Annual Coal Aston Summer Gala.

This is an achievable yet still challenging route through the stunning Moss Valley, primarily it follows PROW through farmland and woodland, with one small ford crossing.
​If you have done a Parkrun why not go that next step.
​

Race Day Information
Please travel by public transport where possible or on foot. Though there is off road parking at the Coal Aston Gala. If parking in the village please park responsibly.

Number Pick up: From the Gala 11am to 12:15pm

The route is all off road and runs across uneven farmland and through woodland with potential trip hazards, burrows, low hanging branches and a small ford crossing (you will get you feet wet). The GPX route can be used during the race and the route will be taped and marshalled at all major turn points, if you have not seen some tape for a few hundred meters, please back track. There will be a couple first aiders out on the course, should you need it. Please follow the instructions of the marshals. There will be a trail walker. If you are unable to complete the course, you must return to the start and finish to ensure we do not spend the afternoon looking for you.

The event is to be licensed by the TRA and held under UK Athletics Rules.
