We are absolutely delighted to have been informed by England Athletics that we have been nominated for Club Of The Year in the East Midlands.
The club of the year award category is described by England Athletics as;
"Recognising the achievements of a club, as well as demonstrating ongoing commitment and passion through the opportunities they have given to everyone involved in the club over the last 12 months."
Nomination in the fantastic field of athletic clubs we have locally is a huge achievement and recognition of all the work, blood, sweat and tears put in by everyone involved with the club over the past 12 months; our committee, the club officers, our run leaders and our fantastic members who all make DRC the brilliant and vibrant community that it is.
The awards ceremony is hosted virtually on 19th November and winners from the respective categories will be put forward for the National awards later in the year.
