The Allen Challenge

At DRC, when one of our own is need of help. We are there.

Our club mate, Chris Allen, is fundraising for life saving cancer treatment for his wife, Esther.

Esther was diagnosed with stage four melanoma 14 years ago and has now run out of options for treatment in the UK. Her last chance is a trip to Israel for a potentially life-saving procedure, costing in the region of £120,000.

As soon as we heard of Esther's situation, we new we had to do something so we got busy at DRC HQ and have devised one of our ever popular Segment Challenges. Only this time there's prizes galore, generously donated by club mates and friends of DRC.

So what's the crack?

It's a simple concept. Run and Donate.

Everyone who donates a minimum of £5 goes into the draw for one of our ace prizes (listed below)

Every £5 donation = 1 ticket in the draw.

Once you've donated, get running the challenge route. Every time you complete the segment, we'll throw an additional ticket into the hat with your name on it.

For example;

Donate a fiver, you get 1 ticket in the prize draw.

Donate a tenner, you get 2 tickets.

If you donate a fiver and run the segment twice, you get 3 tickets.

If you donate £20 and run the segment 5 times, you get 9 tickets in the draw.

And so on...

The Challenge runs from now until midnight on 17th July 2024.

Once you've donated, you can then claim your additional entries into the prize draw by submitting your segment efforts using the form below (one at a time).

At the close of the challenge, we'll draw the prizes at random from all the donations and submitted segment entries and pay 100% of the total raised to Esther's GoFundMe page.
