Dronfield Running Club is absolutely delighted to confirm that entries for the inaugural Big Dipper Half Marathon will go on sale at 17:00 on Monday 18th April.
We don't like to do things by halves at DRC HQ, so when we started talking about putting on a race we immediately thought big - we wanted to create something that combined the "friendly club race" vibe and value with the grandeur of bigger city based events.
We put together a dedicated and enthusiastic race committee who have worked tirelessly and done an incredible job to piece together an event that we are sure will be a big hit and a very welcome addition to the racing calendar.
The Big Dipper is a race that is unique in what it offers and utilises the stunning scenery and tough hills in which Dronfield is nestled and that we all love to run amongst.
